Mario marathon

We really enjoyed staying at Papa's brother's house in Tokyo. Though we never actually saw Kazu there, he was super busy with work, his girlfriend, Miwa, took very good care of us. We like her so much and only wish we could talk more with her. Unfortunately the language barrier is solid between us. But Super Mario brothers is a universal language. Uta had a great time playing with their Wii morning and night. Thank you Miwa-san.

Tokyo Jiji

Tokyo Jiji, an old and dear friend of Papa's, who has come to feel like family, hence the name 'Tokyo Jiji' (Tokyo Grandpa), gave Uta this beautiful new Yukata (summertime kimono). Tokyo Jiji has a tiny bar in Tokyo that we visit as much as possible while we are in town. Some day Uta hopes to work there.
